Football sooon!!!
2 long months and counting down to SOONER FOOTBALL! People down here in Florida ask me what is a sooner. Well they were people who went early in the land runs of Oklahoma. Most of them because they ALREADY HAD HOMES in Indian territory. My great grandfather had a famous bandit hideout there. Anyways I was looking over the schedule and there it was something I'd never thought I see EVER from an OU schedule. A 1-aa team yeah I'm not gonna use that retarded name the ncaa gave them. Sounds like the short bus league and even more demeaning. Anyways CHATTANOOGA wtf for the first time that I can remember we have a namby-pamby non conference schedule!

Gaming Computers
They have come a long way. Used to be you needed a 2000 dollar system to run anything decent. I built one for somebody that cost under 500 and runs crysis at 30 fps! Not outstanding but good and he will be able to sli or crossfire his computer relatively cheaply. I have two 3650s in my computer that cost 67 dollars at Newegg.com you can get them right now for 50 dollars each that's a 100 dollar crossfire solution that runs better than any 100 dollar card you can think of.
Amd duel core processors are cheaper than heck and the memory for them is lower than ever.
My next project is hooking up a htpc with wireless kb and mouse so you can play mmos from the couch and watch it on a 32" screen ;) Less than 500 dollars with OS

Poor Microsoft.
I love the new mac commercials even though I hate the product. Mac is still a non upgradeable solution and makes me wonder why people are formatting their hard drives and installing windows XP at a phenominal rate if os-x is so great. People even put Vista on their machines. Vista runs pretty damn good to tell the truth. The 64 bit version is stable as a rock. The only problem is certified driver support and that seems to be clearing up. Still their commercials are funny if not based on anything but old facts. I've been duel booting vista and xp when i upgraded to home premium it installed it on my xp drive. That was my big issue with vista so far it upgraded drive 0 instead of drive 1 which had the vista home basic. My only other rant if I want to upgrade to Ultimate which I do at some point I will have to shell out 160 more dollars. Hell I spend 80 for the upgrade. Shouldn't that be discounted from the ultimate price?

Start of something new...
This is gonna be hard for me another kind of therapy. Something I need to do to get it all out. I'm going to blog my mind. Confused? me too ;) This is a multi part installment
The mind is a crazy place. It's fragmented you forget things you remember things you think you forgot. When I was young I had multiple personalities. You know there is a lecture you go to when you are kids where they ask you "Are there voices in your head?" Stuff like that. What kid would go yes. What happens to kids that say yes. We at that point have seen the movies where people with mental illnesses get taken to an asylum away from everything they knew. Yes sure sign me up! I'm crazy. No me and others I am certain hide as best we can.
Far back as I can remember, there have always been more than just me in my head until about 7 years ago. Me the personality that won was the part that got awoke every time there was a conflict. That was it, Mr Conflict Resolution. I would wake up at dinner when an argument was directed at me. I would wonder what happened how many days has it been. We all knew that we were there. We all went by the same name except for one. Rage went by Rage that was all he could do. That is most of the childhood that I remember problem, resolution. Time passes problem, resolution. Until I got tired of not knowing what happened when there was no problem.

Everybody is a guitarist
Or at least wants to play one or has one gathering dust. I though I was immune but I am no exception after playing Guitar Hero. I really wanted to try a real one. I can play most brass instruments already Trumpet, french horn, and Tuba have a lot in common. 2 years ago I bought my first guitar the blue one, my second guitar was an electric I saw at guitar center and fell in love with. My last guitar is a twelve string that my girlfriend got for our 5 year anniversary. I havent played in quite a while and picked up the twelve string to play it. Ouch no more caluses so my fingers hurt bad. So I played on my electric which is set up low low low so i could manage 10 minutes before i had to stop. Moral is keep practicing every day ;)

Stupid Owners
My sis posted a story about 2 of the most dangerous chows I have ever seen on one of her sites. These dogs were downright mean. Beat by the owners not fed for days at a time mean. I was 10 and just learning computers, really learning them too as they had just came out in PC form. We lived in a lake house a whole edition was built around a small man made lake that my dad ran. It's didn't pay that much though because he was always doing something else. There was a huge untamed field right across the street where I would go spider and snake hunting. Mostly black tarantulas they are mean themselves very aggressive and can jump 3 feet! These chows came out of no where silently and proceeded to stalk me that day. Now I've never been bitten by a dog other than playing. I have a unique relationship with animals most of them like me or at least accept me. These two though were twisted, demonic animals if there ever was one. I was glad my brothers weren't there. I ran to the house to call the cops...
We have always had a ton of animals dogs, cats, rabbits, sometimes baby squirrels in the spring. One of those pets was a cockier spaniel, brown the color of her favorite thing mud. Now she was the unofficial mother of EVERYTHING living. When she was a puppy she had to have a hysterectomy and couldn't have puppies of her own. She knew it and mothered everything else, be it cat or rat or butterfly. While I was inside starting to dial I heard this gawd awful scream of the cockier in pain. I grabbed something club like i don't remember what it was and ran to the door. Ester; our spaniel, was there on the porch screaming to get in with her stomach clawed open and one of the two chows responsible eating on part of her intestines I believe. Before I could react to this, the bitch dog of our family came flying out of the house a white furious streak of miniature poodle. She had the offending chow down on the ground and dying within a second for two from a slit throat and was streaking towards the second. The second chow was wary however and ran for it's life. I yelled for Angie to come back and she listened pretty well for a ball of fury who didn't care about nothing but taking a nap next to a warm leg.
I ran to get my mom, if there was one thing she was good at it was good reaction and know how when someone or something was hurt. I grabbed a huge towel to wrap the dog it. She had made a call to a doctor friend and he recommended the best animal surgeon he knew. So we packed up the truck and FLEW i still don't get how we were not pulled over as we made it nearly 40 miles to the surgeon's office in no time at all. I waited outside shaking the whole time. Ester turned out fine she got sewed up and intestines stitched. The stupid owners actually tried to sue us over the death of their dog. My dad though was pissed and called his lawyer friend who had the power do most anything he wanted seemed like. Since my dad ran the place the people were forcefully removed within a couple of hours and the dog taken away. I was never so happy to see an animal go away.

The Slacker King rants about hosiptals
Yes that is me the slacker king. Probably the most ironic nickname ever but isn't that the point of nicknames. I am a workaholic, game-aholic, read-aholic. (spell checker is gonna go nuts). My long time online friends (yes i am one of those people), dubbed it to me. I formed an online gaming guild with 4 other people in 1999 for the game Shadowbane. You can find the current website run by the talented Calistah at http://www.housedaenyr.com . It started as a place for devious minds then evolved rather quickly into a place for casual pvpers as we call ourselves. Anyways I was drilling people in the art of pvp, constantly calling people slackers, working 60 hours a week and running raids on another game. I don't think i slept more than 2 hours a day for 3 years or more. So as you could image I had a stress induced heart attack at 28. Man that put me in place, but what bugged me more was the fact i was kept 13 hours at a hospital they ran like 30 test or so on me. My heart stopped 2 more times while I was there. After all that they told me "We don't know what is wrong, The heart doctor isn't in today." Okay they could have told me that like 13 friggin hours ago. Then they want to charge me for the batter of test and the HOURLY rental charge on an critical emergency room. Total bill $1350 for me leaving there worse than when i came in. My heart still didn't feel right. I got a call like a month afterwards from the heart doctor that said I wasn't getting ANY potassium in my system and recommend a supplement and wanted me to come BACK and run a whole bunch more tests. Yeah right like that was gonna happen. So i have this $1350 medical bill which should go off my credit in a couple of years because I'm not paying for them NOT TO FIND ANYTHING after 13 hours and me leaving feeling 2 inches from the grave. Oh and I walked the mile and a half back to my apartment, but I've kept myself alive on sheer willpower before so nothing new to me.
Hey
Well this is something new for me. My first actual blog. I am probably the second most computer literate in my family next to my little brother. http://spider-x.blogspot.com is his site. But for some reason a blog, webpage or something never really held my interest, so why start now. Hell if i know life changes you minutely, in tiny tiny incrediments that when looking back you notice more than just passing through life.
